To ensure the safety and security of a structure and to improve asset value, a system to investigate durability

degradation mechanisms, to develop fundamental materials and methods controlling deterioration,

and to develop an information and communications based (ICT-based) evaluation system would create

an innovative technology to evaluate life cycle aspects of that structure.
